Basic Fried Rice Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 3 cups of cold, cooked rice (preferably day-old rice)
- 2 tbsp oil (vegetable or sesame)
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (like peas, carrots, and corn)

- 3 tbsp soy sauce (or to taste)
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
Prep the Rice: Use cold, day-old rice for the best texture. Break up any clumps before cooking.
Heat the Pan: Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add garlic and onions, stirring until softened and fragrant (about 2-3 minutes).
Cook the Egg: Push the garlic and onions to one side of the pan. Need to pour the beaten eggs into the other side and scramble them until fully cooked. Mix the eggs with the garlic and onions.
